Job Description
The Voter Registration Assistant (VRA) is primarily responsible for supervising Voter Registration Clerks, ensuring the security of biometric equipment (BVR kits/KIEMS tablets), and ensuring that registration targets are met within the assigned ward.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervising Voter registration clerks at the ward.
Assisting in planning the KIEMs kit movement schedule.
Collating and submitting voter registration data.
Ensuring the security of materials and equipment.
Reporting Voter registration progress.
Publicizing registration activities and ensuring the ward meets registration targets.
Job Requirements
Must be a Kenyan citizen and a registered voter.
At least 21 years old, and residents of the constituency/ward they are applying for.
A minimum of a Diploma in ICT or a related field is required.
Availability for the entire registration period.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Kiswahili; knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.
Demonstrated integrity, impartiality, and respect for diversity.
Willingness to work long hours and under field conditions.
Important Notes
Applicants must not have held office or stood for election as a candidate or party agent in the last five (5) years.
Successful candidates will be required to present a copy of their National Identification Card, academic certificates, and any other relevant testimonials.
