Job Description
The Association of Media Women in Kenya (AMWIK) is seeking Volunteer Resource Mobilization Officers to join the team in Nairobi. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for resource mobilization, skills in grant writing, and a keen eye for donor funding opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising: Identify and map new funding opportunities, corporate partnerships, and grant calls aligning with AMWIK's strategic pillars.
Proposal Development: Assist in drafting compelling grant narratives, concept notes, and expressions of interest.
Donor Stewardship: Support the maintenance of the donor database and track reporting timelines.
Strategy Support: Contribute to internal brainstorming sessions on innovative resource mobilization strategies.
Requirements & Qualifications
Degree/HND in Communications, Project Management, Development Studies, or related fields.
2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
Background in Finance and development sectors is an added advantage.
Collaborative spirit and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Ability to commit 2–3 days per week at the Nairobi office.
