Van Driver

KEDA Ceramics International Limited is a manufacturing company of ceramic tiles and sanitary ware located in Miwani, Kisumu County. We are seeking an experienced and professional Van Driver to safely transport employees, management, visitors, and guests to various destinations, operate passenger vans, and ensure vehicle maintenance and safety compliance.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Safely transport employees, management, visitors, and guests to various destinations.\n- Operate the assigned 14-seater passenger van and other company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.\n- Deliver and collect official documents, parcels, and other company materials as required.\n- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure roadworthiness.\n- Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of assigned vehicles.\n- Monitor fuel levels, mileage, servicing schedules, insurance, and inspection certificates.\n- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance needs promptly and coordinate repairs when required.\n- Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, fuel records, mileage, and maintenance records.\n- Support airport transfers, official meetings, company events, and other transport assignments.\n- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers at all times.\n- Observe confidentiality and professionalism while handling company assignments.\n- Comply with all company health, safety, and security policies.\n\n### Qualifications & Requirements\n- KCSE Certificate. A Certificate or Diploma.\n- Valid Kenyan Driving License with Class B1 and D2 endorsements. Class D1 is mandatory for operating the company's 14-seater passenger van.\n- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.\n- Defensive Driving and First Aid certifications will be an added advantage.\n- Minimum of 10 years' professional driving experience.\n- Clean driving record with no major traffic offences.\n\n### Skills & Competencies\n- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of Kenyan traffic regulations.\n- Strong defensive driving and road safety practices.\n- Basic vehicle inspection and troubleshooting skills.\n- Good communication and interpersonal skills.\n- Strong organizational and time management skills.\n- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.\n- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules.\n- Flexible and willing to work outside normal working hours when required.
