The UAT Coordinator is responsible for managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for core banking implementations or upgrades (T24/Temenos). The role ensures that business users validate system functionality against real banking scenarios and regulatory requirements before go-live.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning: Develop and manage UAT strategy and comprehensive execution timelines.
Coordination: Orchestrate UAT activities across various business units to ensure unified testing efforts.
Scenario Development: Translate complex business requirements into actionable UAT test scenarios.
Environment Management: Ensure the availability of necessary UAT environments and accurate test data.
Execution Support: Facilitate UAT sessions, lead defect triage meetings, and manage the defect lifecycle.
Reporting: Track execution progress and provide detailed status reports to stakeholders.
Compliance: Ensure that all regulatory and compliance scenarios are rigorously tested.
Sign-off: Coordinate and secure business sign-off following successful testing.
Change Management: Support training initiatives and broader change management activities.
Key Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
Experience: 4–7 years’ experience in UAT coordination specifically within banking projects.
Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with the T24/Temenos core banking system.
Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of banking operations and familiarity with SDLC and the testing lifecycle.
Tools: Proficiency with tools such as JIRA or HP ALM.
Soft Skills: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
