Job Description
Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) is recruiting qualified individuals for the position of TVET Trainer in Environmental Management. There are 9 vacancies available. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering technical and vocational training to students, ensuring high standards of education and practical skill acquisition in the field of environmental management and planning.
Responsibilities
Delivering competency-based training in Environmental Management and Planning.
Developing lesson plans and training materials aligned with the TVET curriculum.
Assessing and evaluating student performance through practical and theoretical assignments.
Maintaining student records and monitoring progress.
Providing guidance and mentorship to students in a vocational setting.
Requirements
Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Environmental Management & Planning or a related field.
Relevant training experience in a technical or vocational institution.
Mandatory TVETA Training Certification.
Pedagogical skills will be considered a significant advantage.
