Zetech University invites applications from suitably qualified, dynamic, and results-oriented individuals to fill the position of Tutorial Fellow in Physics. Key Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching & Instruction: Teach courses assigned by the Head of Department in physics; design, develop, plan, and deliver academic programmes and course units at various levels.
Practical & Tutorial Sessions: Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, practicals, and fieldwork as appropriate to the discipline.
Curriculum Maintenance: Review and update course content, teaching materials, and assessment methods to ensure relevance and quality; collaborate with academic colleagues in curriculum development and programme review.
Research & Publications: Undertake research, publish scholarly work, prepare competitive research grant proposals, present findings at conferences, and disseminate research outputs.
Consultancy & Income Generation: Seek and participate in consultancies and other income-generating academic activities.
Mentorship & Student Support: Mentor and provide academic, professional, and career guidance to students and junior staff.
Institutional Participation: Participate in departmental, faculty, and university activities and perform other assigned duties in line with university policies.
Qualifications and Experience
Registration for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent doctoral degree in Physics with satisfactory progress towards completion.
Master's degree in Physics or relevant discipline from an accredited and recognized university.
Bachelor's degree in Physics or relevant discipline from an accredited and recognized university.
At least three (3) years of relevant post-qualification work experience.
Demonstrated university-level teaching and research experience.
Registration with, or eligibility for registration with, the relevant professional body where applicable.
