We are seeking a strategic, forward-thinking, industry-connected, and student-centric Tutorial Fellow with Medical Surgical acumen to foster teaching, research, and innovation ecosystems. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the capability to bridge academia and grow graduate employability while ensuring sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Medical Surgical Units allocated by the Head of Department.
Design, develop, plan, and deliver a range of programmes of study, including new courses at various levels.
Deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions.
Review Medical Surgical course content and materials on a regular basis, updating when required.
Collaborate with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes, and the development of research activities.
Carry out research and write research grant proposals.
Seek and participate in consultancies.
Disseminate research findings at national or international conferences, scientific symposiums, and webinars.
Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a Master's and Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Surgical Nursing from an accredited University.
At least three (3) years of post-qualification work experience.
Demonstrate potential for university teaching, research, and community extension.
Have a commitment to high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
