Tutorial Fellow - Grade XI (Human Anatomy)

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Lead and manage teams in conducting individual or collaborative research.
• Disseminate research findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
• Supervise, advise, and mentor postgraduate students in their research activities.
• Write proposals for research and development funding.
• Contribute significantly to the development of academic policies and coordinate research activities in Human Anatomy.
• Develop collaborative links and research partnerships with other researchers and institutions.
• Participate in curriculum development and review of academic programmes.
• Guide and mentor early-stage researchers in training and career development.
• Handle examination preparation, administration, and management.
• Participate in the administration and management of departmental programmes.
• Undertake community outreach activities and provide leadership in the department or school as appropriate.
• Perform any other related duties assigned by the university administration.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Must hold an earned Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited and recognized University.
• PhD Status: Evidence of active registration for a PhD programme.
• Publications: At least eight (8) equivalent publication points from credible refereed journal articles.
• Professional Registration: Must be registered with a relevant professional body where applicable and be in good standing.
• Community Engagement: Evidence of involvement in community outreach or engagement activities.
• Competencies: Possess relevant knowledge, skills, and competencies required for university-level instruction.
