The Tutorial Fellow position in Clinical Medicine is responsible for teaching undergraduate students as well as undertaking research that influences theory and practice in the field. This position serves as the entry grade for Masters’ degree holders into the academic cadre, providing a foundation for a career in higher education and research.\n\n### Responsibilities\n- Undertake teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.\n- Lead and manage teams in conducting research individually or collaboratively.\n- Disseminate research findings through publishing peer-reviewed outputs and national and international learned conferences.\n- Supervise, advise and mentor postgraduate students and their research.\n- Write proposals for research and development funding.\n- Significantly contribute to the development of academic policies. Lead and coordinate research activities in their subject areas.\n- Develop collaborative links and research partnerships with other researchers and institutions within and outside the university.\n- Participate in curriculum development and review.\n- Guide and mentor early-stage researchers in their training, skills acquisition and career development in their specialization.\n- Examination preparation, administration and management.\n- Participate in administration and management of departmental programmes and activities.\n- Undertake community outreach activities.\n- Where appropriate provide leadership in the department or school.\n- Participate in the development and review of academic programmes.\n- Attending and participating in research conferences and seminars.\n- Perform any other related duty assigned from time to time.\n\n### Requirements\n- Evidence of registration of PhD.\n- An earned Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited and recognized University.\n- At least eight (8) equivalent publication points from credible refereed journal articles.\n- Be registered with relevant professional body where applicable and in good standing.\n- Evidence of Community Outreach/Engagement.\n- Relevant knowledge, skills and competencies.\n\n### How to Apply\nApplications should be accompanied by a detailed Curriculum Vitae and certified copies of relevant academic and professional certificates, National Identity Card or Passport, testimonials, e-mail addresses and telephone contacts and any other relevant supporting documents.
