Job Description
Zetech University is the premier university for the education of Technology, Science and Business oriented global leaders, offering an exceptional learning experience to thousands of youth from Kenya and beyond. The university is seeking to recruit 10 Tutorial Fellows for the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The successful candidates will be responsible for academic instruction, curriculum development, and contributing to the university's research output.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teach in areas allocated by the Head of Department.
Design, develop, plan, and deliver a range of programs of study, including new courses at various academic levels.
Deliver high-quality lectures and facilitate practical sessions.
Review and update course content and materials on a regular basis.
Collaborate with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes, and research activities.
Carry out research and write research grant proposals.
Seek and participate in consultancy projects.
Present research papers at national or international conferences and disseminate research outputs.
Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualification and Experience
Currently registered for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent Doctoral degree qualification and showing progress.
A Master of Science (MSc) or Master of Technology (MTech) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from an accredited University.
A Bachelor of Technology Education (Electrical and Electronics) or a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an accredited University.
At least three (3) years of post-qualification work experience.
Demonstrated university-level teaching and research experience.
Must be registered or registrable with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
