Job Description
One Acre Fund is looking for a Tupande IT Operations Intern to join our team in Nairobi. One Acre Fund is a nonprofit organization that supplies smallholder farmers in East Africa with asset-based financing and agriculture training services to reduce hunger and poverty. This internship is designed for individuals seeking to grow their technical skills within a fast-paced environment. You will have weekly check-ins with your manager, access to mentorship, and regular feedback to support your career growth.
Responsibilities
IT Operation and Management
Adhere to Country IT Operations policies, processes, and guidelines.
Resolve up to Tier 2 Technical (endpoints, networks) incidents and service requests within established SLAs.
Comply with endpoints (laptops and tablets) and network processes.
Ensure smooth execution of IT support exercises, such as endpoint maintenance, inventory data cleanup, and performance testing.
Monitor CCTV and GPS systems.
Project Management
Deliver high-quality IT projects on time.
Independently define project scope, milestones, and timelines.
Follow the Tech standard Project Management Professional (PMP) guidelines.
Define roles for project participants including technical leads, domain experts, business owners, and vendors.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: BA/BSc/HND in a relevant field.
Technical Skills:
Understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM) Tools.
Proficiency in Windows and Android OS.
Knowledge of Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
Foundational networking skills.
Familiarity with CompTIA A+.
