Bobu Africa is a travel agency dedicated to exploring Africa's hidden gems and creating unforgettable, tailor-made experiences. We focus on providing life-affirming and intimately designed journeys across the continent. The Travel Operations role is vital for ensuring these experiences are executed flawlessly, from the initial booking to the final client feedback.
Key Responsibilities
Safari Coordination: Manage end-to-end safari bookings by meticulously reviewing Booking Service Itineraries (BSIs).
Logistics Management: Oversee ground transportation, including the allocation of vehicles and scheduling of drivers to ensure seamless travel operations.
Client Support: Deliver comprehensive client experience support, including pre-travel briefings, airport welcomes, in-safari check-ins, and collecting post-travel feedback.
Documentation: Support the processing of visas, ETA, and AMREF applications, ensuring all travel documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
Inter-departmental Liaison: Facilitate smooth coordination between the Sales, Reservations, Finance, and Production teams to ensure operational efficiency.
Immediate Onboarding: Successful candidates will be required to report immediately upon appointment.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in tour operations within a travel company.
Strong knowledge of ETA, VISA, and AMREF application processes.
In-depth knowledge of East Africa Safari operations, travel coordination, and reservations.
Proficient in MS Office and data handling.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and supporting operations.
Ability to work onsite in Nairobi.
