Trade Development Representative (TDR)

Our client, a leading telecommunications provider, seeks to recruit a Trade Development Representative (TDR). Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to focus on channel visitations to drive retailer awareness and turnaround on SIMs and Float. The successful candidate will pay close attention to visibility and merchandising at the point of purchase for SSOs and T-Kash agents.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n\n* : Effectively manage the identification and recruitment of Agents, targeting mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores.\n* : Visit SSOs and Agents regularly using agreed route plans (beat plans).\n* : Provide all requisite tools for transactions at SSO and agent outlets and train SSOs and TKash Agents on processes.\n* : Train agents on AML protocols and SSOs on KYC process in relation to SIM registration (SIMREG).\n* : Monitor and effectively enforce the 1.5x stock rule for agents and ensure SSOs have adequate stock of SIMs for new registration and activations.\n* : Develop and maintain merchandising standards by providing merchandising materials at SSOs and Agent outlets.\n\n### Qualifications and Experience\n\n* Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.\n* At least 1 year of experience in a sales and distribution role within an FMCG or Telecommunications company.\n\n### Competencies\n\n* Strong customer focus.\n* Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.\n* Networking and partnership-building capabilities.\n* Analytical thinking skills.\n\n### How to Apply\n\nApplicants who meet the requirements stated above should send their application letter, expected salary, and detailed CV with a daytime telephone number to the email address: .
