Trade Development Representative (TDR)

HCS Affiliates Group is seeking a Trade Development Representative (TDR) for their client, a leading telecommunications provider. This role is based in Nanyuki and reports to the Area Sales Manager. The primary purpose of the position is to conduct channel visitations to drive retailer awareness and turnaround on SIMs and Float, while ensuring visibility and merchandising at points of purchase for SSOs and T-Kash agents.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- : Manage the identification and recruitment of Agents, specifically targeting mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores.\n- : Visit SSOs and Agents regularly according to agreed route plans (beat plans).\n- : Provide requisite transaction tools and train SSOs and T-Kash Agents on operational processes.\n- : Conduct AML training for agents and train SSOs on KYC processes in relation to SIM registration (SIMREG).\n- : Monitor and enforce the 1.5x stock rule for agents and ensure SSOs have adequate SIM stock for new registrations and activations.\n- : Develop and maintain merchandising standards by distributing materials at SSO and Agent outlets.\n\n### Qualifications and Requirements\n- : A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.\n- : At least 1 year of experience in a sales and distribution role within the FMCG or Telecommunications sectors.\n- : Strong customer focus, influencing and negotiation skills, networking and building partnerships, and analytical thinking.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested candidates who meet the requirements should send their application letter, expected salary, and a detailed CV (including a daytime telephone number) to .
