Job Description
Sot Technical Training Institute (STTI) is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced Tractor Drivers on a reliever basis. The institute is dedicated to providing an exceptional and innovative learning environment that impacts the economic development of its service county and the country. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the institution's tractors and plant machinery.
Responsibilities and Duties
Operate tractors and other plant machinery within the institution's premises or designated work areas.
Perform routine checks and maintenance on the machinery to ensure it is in good working condition.
Safely transport materials, equipment, or personnel as required by the institution's operations.
Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations when operating machinery.
Report any mechanical faults, accidents, or maintenance needs to the supervisor immediately.
Ensure the safety and security of the vehicle and any attached implements.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
Must have a valid Driving License with a class G12 (Plant Machinery) or Category D or its equivalent.
Must possess a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (DCI).
Previous experience in operating tractors and associated machinery is preferred.
