Job Description
Africa Safari Trips offers an extensive range of private safari trips in East Africa. As a Tour Consultant, you will be responsible for designing personalized safari itineraries, communicating with clients, managing bookings and invoices, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication: Manage client inquiries, bookings, itineraries, and payments via WhatsApp, email, and phone.
Itinerary Preparation: Create personalized safari itineraries tailored to each client's needs.
Invoice Management: Prepare client invoices and follow up on payments.
Feedback & Support: Collect post-safari feedback, resolve issues, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Booking Management: Communicate itinerary updates and booking changes before and during travel.
Sales Support: Contribute to weekly and monthly sales targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
Excellent command of the required language.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in the travel industry, preferably in tour consulting or hotel operations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven experience selling South Africa and other Southern African destinations, including Botswana and Namibia.
Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and a customer-focused mindset.
Flexible and willing to work varied hours when required.
