Akothee Safaris, a Tours, Travel and Destination Management Company based in the Kenyan coastal city of Mombasa with offices in three other cities in Kenya and a vast network of associates in and around East Africa, is seeking to hire three dedicated Tour Consultants. The purpose of this role is to maximize the region's potential for tourism by designing, selling, and managing travel packages, ensuring clients enjoy fun-filled memories and leisure.

Responsibilities and Key Abilities

Successful candidates will be required to demonstrate the following core abilities, which constitute the primary duties of the position:

• Utilize strong knowledge of regional destinations, hotels, and detailed safari itineraries to plan and advise clients effectively.
• Prepare comprehensive quotations, detailed itineraries, and reservation documents.
• Manage all aspects of customer service, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the booking process.
• Apply excellent sales skills to achieve booking targets for tours and travel packages.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Education: Hold a Diploma or Degree in Tours & Travel, Hospitality, or a related field (BA/BSc/HND, Diploma).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience working in a tours and travel office setting.
• Skills: Must possess excellent communication, customer service, and sales skills.
