Job Description
The Tooling & Automation Lead is a Senior Manager-level role responsible for identifying, implementing, and managing the technology tools and automation capabilities that underpin KPMG T&I's delivery operations. This role focuses on removing manual effort from the delivery workflow—automating governance, reporting, communication, and testing processes—and ensuring that KPMG T&I's internal delivery infrastructure keeps pace with the growing scale and complexity of the portfolio. As AI-powered tooling increasingly transforms professional services delivery, this role ensures KPMG T&I remains at the leading edge of technology-enabled service delivery.
Responsibilities
Identify, implement, and manage technology tools and automation capabilities for delivery operations.
Automate governance, reporting, communication, and testing processes to remove manual effort.
Ensure internal delivery infrastructure maintains pace with portfolio scale and complexity.
Lead the adoption and application of AI-powered productivity tools in service delivery.
Manage automation workflows using both low-code platforms and scripting.
Requirements
Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
Certification in at least one automation or DevOps platform (e.g., Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, Robotic Process Automation).
Minimum 8 years of experience in technology delivery or operations.
At least 3 years of specialized experience in a tooling, automation, or DevOps engineering role.
Hands-on experience building automation workflows using low-code/no-code platforms (Power Automate, Zapier, Make) or scripting (Python, PowerShell).
Experience with project management tooling such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), or Smartsheet.
Knowledge of portfolio reporting automation and AI-powered productivity tools.
