Role Overview
Radiant Group of Hospitals (RGH), a leading healthcare provider in Kenya, is seeking a qualified and experienced Theatre Nurse to join our team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient perioperative nursing care in the operating theatre.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare the operating theatre and sterile field for surgical procedures.
Assist surgeons and anesthetic teams during operations.
Maintain strict sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Manage and care for surgical instruments and equipment.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Diploma in Nursing.
Specialization: Higher Diploma in Perioperative / Theatre Nursing (Mandatory).
Licensing: A valid Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) license.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of active operating theatre experience.
Skills: Strong expertise in sterile technique, patient safety, and perioperative care.
