Tender Expert / Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and track tender opportunities related to general supplies (e.g., office supplies, equipment, consumables).
• Prepare, review, and submit complete tender documents in compliance with requirements.
• Source quotations from suppliers and prepare competitive pricing.
• Maintain an organized database of tender documents and submissions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and procurement officers.
• Generate leads and actively seek new business opportunities.
• Follow up on submitted tenders and sales leads.
• Negotiate and close supply contracts.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Academic Qualification: BA/BSc/HND degree.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience in tendering, procurement, or sales in general supplies.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of government and NGO procurement procedures.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word & Excel).
• Interpersonal Skills: Good negotiation and supplier sourcing skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Attributes: High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Added Advantages

• Experience with Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Kenya processes.
• Existing network with suppliers or procurement officers.
• Knowledge of IFMIS or e-procurement systems.
