Technical Installer

The Technical Installer is responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining, and removing vehicle tracking devices professionally while ensuring safety, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.\n\n### Key Responsibilities:\n- Conduct installation, servicing, and removal of tracking devices and accessories in client vehicles.\n- Receive daily job allocations from the Operations Supervisor and report movement before and after assignments.\n- Ensure proper handling, usage, and return of installation tools, trackers, and related equipment.\n- Complete job cards accurately for every job done and submit them promptly.\n- Adhere strictly to safety standards and avoid any damage to client vehicles during installations.\n- Maintain professional behavior, attire, and communication while on client premises.\n- Report technical issues or faulty devices to the Operations Supervisor immediately for escalation.\n- Test devices post-installation to confirm functionality (signal, GPS, engine cut-off, etc.).\n- Provide basic client guidance on device functionality after installation when required.\n- Keep records of completed jobs and note any challenges or client complaints encountered.\n- Support audits and physical inspections by ensuring all installed devices match internal logs.\n- Observe strict confidentiality of client data, vehicle access, and internal system configurations.\n- Participate in periodic technical training and system updates.\n\n### Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):\n- Number of successful installations completed.\n- Device functionality rate (minimal reworks).\n- Compliance with safety standards.\n- Accuracy of documentation.\n- Client satisfaction feedback.\n\n### Minimum Qualifications & Experience:\n- Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or related technical field.\n- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in vehicle electronics or tracking system installation.\n- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems is preferred.\n- Basic understanding of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics.\n- Valid driver’s or rider’s license is an added advantage.\n\n### Key Competencies:\n- Technical proficiency.\n- Attention to detail.\n- Problem-solving skills.\n- Professional conduct.\n- Ability to work independently and in the field.\n\n### How to Apply:\nInterested and qualified candidates should forward their CV to: using the position as the subject of the email.
