Support Staff (Divers)

The County Government of Kericho is seeking to recruit qualified individuals for the position of Support Staff (Divers) - 2 Posts. This role involves providing essential diving, rescue, and security services within the county's water bodies and tourist sites.\n\n### Duties and Responsibilities\n* Rescue diving for underwater casualties\n* Provide Security to tourist within county water falls\n* Act as tour guide within water falls\n* Provide ground work service in the water falls around the tourist site\n* Search and recovery diving for bodies\n* Search and rescue in collapsed building debris\n* Search and rescue of landslide and mudslide victims\n* Any other duties as may be assigned\n\n### Requirements for Appointment\n* Must have at least a KCSE Mean grade of D (Plain) certificate\n* Diving skills in running waters (rivers) and stationery waters (dams and ponds) (Must provide a certified recommendation Letter from Disaster Management Institution)\n* Basic recovery and rescue skills in water bodies\n* Basic knowledge of first aid
