Role Overview
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is looking for qualified individuals to fill the position of Supply Chain Management Officer - 4. This role is essential for ensuring that the procurement processes within the National Prosecuting Authority are conducted efficiently, ethically, and in compliance with the constitutional and statutory requirements of Kenya. The officer will be responsible for various aspects of the supply chain, including procurement planning, sourcing, and contract management.
Requirements for Appointment
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Procurement and Supply Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, Purchasing and Supplies Management, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized university.
Alternative Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Management or Social Sciences combined with a Postgraduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management (or its approved equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Professional Membership: Must be a member of a recognized professional body for Supply Chain Management, such as the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) or the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
Professional Licensing: Must possess a valid practicing license from the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) or the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
Constitutional Compliance: Must meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 regarding integrity and leadership.
