Job Description
The Trans Nzoia County Public Service Board is seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Management Assistant III. An officer at this level will be deployed in a Supply Chain Management unit within a department and will handle a variety of tasks such as issuing and receiving stores, assisting in stocktaking, and maintaining essential records.
Responsibilities and Duties
Store Operations: Handle the daily tasks of issuing and receiving store items to ensure efficient workflow.
Assist in periodic stocktaking activities to verify physical inventory levels.
Inventory Management:
Reconciliation: Aid in the reconciliation of stock records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Record Keeping: Ensure the preparation and maintenance of accurate and up-to-date supply chain management records.
Qualifications and Requirements
Academic Qualification: Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C- (minus) with a minimum of C- in Mathematics and English or Kiswahili, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Professional Qualification: A Diploma in Supplies Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
