This Store Clerk role at PrideInn involves managing the hotel’s store operations. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented and experienced individual responsible for overseeing inventory, ensuring proper stock control, and coordinating with various hotel departments to maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all store activities, including receiving, storing, and issuing stock.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock reconciliations.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering to prevent shortages.
- Organize and maintain store areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Coordinate with hotel departments to meet their stock and supply requirements.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior store clerks.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or issues to management promptly.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in a store or inventory management role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Degree or Diploma in any Business-related course (i.e., finance, accounting, purchasing).
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
