Responsibilities

• Ensure all kitchen equipment, dishes, and glassware are cleaned and sanitized according to hotel standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen workspace, including floors, walls, and preparation surfaces.
• Properly store cleaned items and manage the organization of the scullery or dishwashing area.
• Handle and dispose of kitchen waste and recycling appropriately.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks or set-up for banquets and events as needed.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Requirements

• Educational qualification: BA/BSc/HND in a relevant field (as specified by the employer).
• Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or restaurant environment is an added advantage.
• High standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
