Role Overview
The Stationary / Line Concrete Pump Operator is responsible for operating stationary concrete pumps and managing concrete delivery through fixed pipeline systems. The primary objective is to ensure smooth, continuous, and safe concrete placement according to project specifications on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Pump Operation: Operate stationary/line concrete pumps efficiently on various construction sites.
- Pipeline Management: Install, secure, anchor, and dismantle concrete pipelines as required for the project.
- Flow Monitoring: Monitor pumping pressure and concrete flow continuously to prevent blockages and ensure consistency.
- Maintenance & Cleaning: Clean pipelines and pumping equipment thoroughly after each pour; support minor equipment inspections and basic maintenance activities.
- Supervision & Collaboration: Work under the direct supervision of site engineers and supervisors, assisting in continuous or mass concrete pours.
- Compliance: Follow approved method statements and site procedures, ensuring full compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Reporting: Promptly report equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality deviations to the relevant authorities.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Certification: Must be a Certified Stationary Concrete Pump Operator.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of hands-on experience specifically operating stationary/line pumps.
- Technical Skills: Practical experience with pipeline installation, anchoring, and cleaning; understanding of concrete mix behavior and pumping pressures.
- Personal Attributes: Strong commitment to safety and operational discipline; ability to work effectively under supervision and as part of a team.
