Soroi Collection, a leading eco-luxury camp and lodge brand, is seeking self-motivated, passionate, and professionally qualified Sous Chefs to join their team. This recruitment is part of an expansion following the opening of new units in Samburu National Reserve, Amboseli National Reserve, and the Diani-Coastal region. We deliver an unforgettable journey into Africa’s wild heart, blending boutique charm with the excitement of raw, untouched nature.
Role Overview
The Sous Chef will support the kitchen management in delivering exceptional hospitality and guest culinary experiences. The role requires individuals who are passionate about the industry and capable of working in high-end, eco-luxury environments.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and food production.
Ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation are maintained.
Manage kitchen staff performance and training.
Oversee food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols within the kitchen.
Contribute to creative menu planning that aligns with luxury boutique standards.
Monitor inventory levels and manage kitchen costs.
Ensure guest satisfaction through high-quality dining experiences.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (BA/BSc/HND) in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Professional qualifications in Catering and Confectionery.
Self-motivated and passionate about delivering luxury hospitality.
