Job Description
As a Sonographer at Equity Afia, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiological services using ultrasound technology. Your primary role is to provide accurate diagnostic information to assist in patient care. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to perform diagnostic procedures, obtain and interpret images, and support overall patient management.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures and radiological services.
Obtain and interpret diagnostic images to provide accurate information for patient care.
Assist in various diagnostic procedures as required.
Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient service.
Maintain accurate patient records and produce detailed reports.
Requirements and Qualifications
Higher Diploma in Ultrasound and/or Radiology.
Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences.
At least one (1) year of professional work experience in sonography.
Must be registered and possess a valid license from the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
Valid membership with the Society of Radiography in Kenya (SORK).
Strong report writing skills.
Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
