Job Description
Equity Afia is a group of qualified and experienced doctors providing high-quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare to Kenyans. We are seeking a Sonographer who will be responsible for performing high-quality radiological services using ultrasound technology and providing accurate diagnostic information to assist in patient care. The position holder will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to perform diagnostic procedures, obtain and interpret images, and assist in patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality radiological services using ultrasound technology.
Provide accurate diagnostic information to assist in patient care.
Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to perform diagnostic procedures.
Obtain and interpret images to support medical diagnoses.
Assist in direct patient care during imaging procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
Higher Diploma in Ultrasound and/or Radiology.
Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences.
At least one (1) year of relevant work experience.
Registered and with a valid license from the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
Active membership in the Society of Radiography in Kenya (SORK).
Strong report writing skills.
Proficiency in computer skills, especially Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
