Job Description
The Social Media & Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling manufactured kitchen equipment and commercial laundry equipment. This multifaceted role utilizes digital platforms, physical market engagement, and organized events to drive sales. The successful candidate will manage the brand's online presence, handle marketplace listings, engage in field sales with retail outlets, and coordinate brand visibility efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management & Content Creation
Create and grow company presence on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), and Threads.
Develop engaging content including product photography, promotional posters, and video content.
Execute awareness campaigns for specific products like boiling tables, stockpot stoves, brass taps, and laundry equipment.
Provide prompt responses to customer inquiries on all social platforms.
Online Sales & Marketplace Management
Manage product uploads and listings on Jumia and Kilimall.
Optimize listings with detailed descriptions, competitive pricing, and high-quality images.
Monitor sales performance and customer feedback on e-commerce platforms.
Coordinate order processing and delivery follow-ups.
Field Sales & Retail Engagement
Identify and secure product placement in supermarkets and retail outlets.
Sell directly to business clients and institutions.
Foster and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
Meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
Event Planning & Brand Visibility
Plan and coordinate marketing events, exhibitions, and product demonstrations.
Organize brand activations and represent the company at trade fairs.
Develop and manage advertising materials such as banners, stands, and pop-ups.
Ensure all marketing activities comply with local branding and licensing regulations.
Market Intelligence & CRM
Research market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
Manage WhatsApp Business for customer interactions and lead conversion.
Maintain a daily activity diary tracking sales, social engagement, and field visits.
Prepare regular marketing and sales performance reports.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in social media management and sales.
Familiarity with online marketplaces like Jumia or Kilimall is an added advantage.
Strong content creation skills, including photo and video editing.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and consistently meet targets.
