Social Media Content Creator & Live Host

Roadmap Tech Computers, a trusted computer shop based in Nairobi, Kenya, is dedicated to providing the best online shopping experience for computers and accessories sourced from leading brands (including Dell, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, Acer, Apple (MacBook), and Asus).

We are seeking a creative, energetic, and tech-savvy Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the "face and voice" of our brand across major social media platforms. You will be responsible for producing engaging content—ranging from high-quality videos to live product demonstrations—that drives audience engagement and showcases our range of electronics and computers.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and edit high-quality video and text content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp.
• Conduct regular Live streaming sessions to showcase products, explain features, and interact with the audience in real-time.
• Engage actively with followers by responding to comments and inquiries to cultivate a loyal community.
• Collaborate closely with the in-store sales team to gain a deep understanding of product features and assist with walk-in customers when necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and algorithm changes to continuously maximize content reach and performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Relevant qualifications such as BA/BSc/HND, Diploma, KCSE, or Vocational training are acceptable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
• Proven experience in content creation (video editing, scriptwriting, and photography).
• Must be comfortable being on camera and adept at hosting live sessions.
• Previous experience in a similar role or specifically within the electronics/IT industry is considered a strong advantage.
• Ability to work on a full-time basis and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
