Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth: Drive sales within the assigned region by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Product Promotion: Sell construction materials and kitchen appliance solutions to contractors, developers, and individual clients.
Showroom Operations: Manage and oversee showroom activities, ensuring products are well-displayed and the environment is customer-ready.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.
Lead Handling: Respond to customer inquiries, prepare detailed quotations, and follow up on sales leads effectively.
Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure continuous product availability.
Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify trends, monitor competitor activity, and find new growth opportunities.
Targets & Reporting: Achieve and exceed set sales targets and KPIs, while preparing regular sales and performance reports.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in the construction industry, specifically in selling construction materials.
Proven experience in sales and showroom management.
Strong understanding of the local market dynamics in Nairobi, Kisumu, and Nakuru.
Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
