The Showroom Sales Executive is responsible for driving regional sales growth while overseeing daily showroom operations. This role focuses on expanding market presence within the construction industry and delivering an excellent customer experience. The position requires a candidate who can effectively promote products to contractors, developers, and individual clients while ensuring the showroom remains professional and customer-ready.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth: Drive regional sales by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Product Promotion: Actively promote and sell construction materials and kitchen appliance solutions to contractors, developers, and individual clients.
Showroom Operations: Manage and oversee daily showroom activities, ensuring that all products are effectively displayed and the environment is conducive for customers.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.
Lead Management: Handle all customer inquiries professionally, prepare accurate quotations, and consistently follow up on sales leads.
Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels regularly and coordinate with internal teams to ensure product availability matches customer demand.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, track competitor activity, and discover new business opportunities.
Targets & KPIs: Consistently achieve and exceed set sales targets and performance indicators.
Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales and performance reports to management.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in the sale of construction materials.
Track Record: Proven experience in both active sales and showroom management.
Market Knowledge: A strong understanding of the local market dynamics in Nairobi, Kisumu, and Nakuru.
