Role Overview
KPMG Deal Advisory is looking for a Senior Strategy Associate to join their team. The successful candidate will apply deep technical knowledge and industry experience to address a broad mix of complex transaction and business issues. You will work with a range of clients, including private companies, the public sector, private equity houses, leading financial institutions, and individuals. The role focuses on three core areas: Strategy Development, Restructuring and Infrastructure Advisory, and Corporate Finance and Transaction Services.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Client Delivery: Assist Managers, Directors, and Partners in delivering services to clients across various sectors and ensure the delivery of high-quality work on all engagements.
Project Management: Actively participate in the hands-on delivery of projects and programs. This includes program design and development, benefits and quality management, stakeholder management, portfolio management, and milestone/risk management.
Material Development: Prepare and present client materials, including status reports, project reports, and professional presentations.
Business Development: Support business development efforts by preparing proposals for target clients.
Leadership and Mentorship: Review the work of junior team members, provide training where necessary, and coach team members on their tasks.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts.
Other Duties: Perform any other tasks as assigned by team leaders.
Academic/Professional Qualifications and Experience
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Professional Certifications: Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CFA, or CPA are considered an added advantage.
Experience: A minimum of 4–6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate finance, transaction advisory services, or infrastructure project management.
