Job Description
The Makueni County Public Service Board is established under Section 57 of the County Governments Act 2012. The Board is seeking to recruit a qualified and competent individual for the position of Senior Statistician II.
Role Purpose
As a Senior Statistician II, you will be responsible for providing statistical support and data analysis to facilitate informed decision-making and policy formulation within the county. The role involves managing datasets and providing economic and mathematical insights relevant to county planning.
Salary Scale
Job Group 'M'
Salary Scale: Kshs. 52,330 x 2,350 – 54,680 x 2,550 - 57,230 x 2,850 - 60,080 x 2,850 – 62,930 x 2,930 - 65,860 x 3,080 – 68,940 p.m.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Statistics, Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Statistics, Economics and Finance or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Six (6) years' relevant experience.
Mandatory Clearance Documents (Required for Shortlisted Candidates)
Shortlisted candidates will be required to obtain and produce clearance from the following institutions during interviews:
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI/CID).
Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
Interview Requirements
Shortlisted candidates shall be required to produce the following original documents during the interview:
Original National Identity Card/Passport.
Original academic certificates.
Original professional certificates and transcripts.
Registration certificate (where necessary).
