Academic and Professional Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, the applicant must have:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Accounting/Finance), Business Administration, or any other recognized equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Professional Certifications: Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (CPA K), Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Professional Membership: Registered as a member and in good standing with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Institute of Risk Management (IRM), or any other recognized professional body.
Other Requirements:
Met the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
A certificate in Senior Management Course from the Kenya School of Government or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years of work experience as Risk Management Officer I (JSG 5) or a comparable and relevant position.
