The Senior Records Management Assistant is responsible for ensuring that bank and customer documents are appropriately filed and marked to action officers. The role involves controlling and opening files, updating file indexes, ensuring the security of information and files within the registry, and maintaining up-to-date file movement records.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Ensure that file covers are well maintained and documents are handled with care.\n- Check pending correspondence and bring-ups and take appropriate action.\n- Receive, sort, open, and dispatch mail and maintain related registers.\n- Maintain securities registers and jotters.\n- Initiate appraisal and disposal of files/documents in liaison with relevant stakeholders.\n- Ensure security of information, documents, files, and office equipment.\n- Prepare disposal schedules and dispose of dead files in accordance with relevant Government regulations.\n- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.\n\n### Requirements\n- Diploma in Records Management, Information Management, Information Science, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution.\n- Minimum of four (4) years’ work experience, preferably in a banking environment or a law firm.\n- Certificate in Computer Proficiency.\n- Excellent computer literacy, proficient in the Microsoft suite and other risk management tools.\n- Knowledge of banking processes.\n- Demonstrated results in work performance.\n- Fulfillment of the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested candidates who meet the criteria above are encouraged to apply by close of business on February 27, 2026.
