About the Role
Our client, a leading communications and strategic advisory firm, is seeking to recruit a highly experienced and strategic Senior PR Account Manager to lead and grow key client accounts through impactful communication strategies, strong media engagement, and integrated PR campaigns.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in strategic communications within an agency or corporate environment and demonstrate the ability to deliver measurable business and reputational outcomes for clients. This role requires a strong strategic thinker, exceptional storyteller, confident client advisor, and collaborative leader with expertise in media relations, reputation management, thought leadership, and integrated communications.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communications & Client Management
Lead and manage multiple client accounts, ensuring delivery of high-quality strategic communication solutions.
Translate client briefs into comprehensive and results-driven PR and communication strategies.
Provide strategic counsel on brand positioning, stakeholder engagement, reputation management, and thought leadership initiatives.
Develop and present strategic proposals, campaign concepts, and communication plans aligned to client objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, and long-term client retention.
Media Relations & Storytelling
Build and leverage strong relationships with journalists, editors, media houses, influencers, and digital platforms.
Develop compelling press materials, opinion pieces, executive profiles, and thought leadership content.
Drive proactive media engagement to secure impactful coverage across traditional and digital platforms.
Oversee media briefings, interviews, press conferences, and media events.
Monitor media trends and emerging narratives relevant to client industries.
Campaign Development & Execution
Lead the planning and execution of integrated communication campaigns across PR, digital media, social media, and events.
Coordinate campaign timelines, stakeholder engagement, and deliverables to ensure seamless execution.
Collaborate with creative, digital, and content teams to deliver innovative communication initiatives.
Drive digital PR initiatives including influencer engagement, online reputation management, and digital storytelling.
Crisis & Reputation Management
Support clients in managing reputational risks and crisis communication situations.
Develop crisis response strategies, key messaging documents, holding statements, and media responses.
Monitor public sentiment and proactively identify potential reputational risks.
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop junior account team members.
Provide quality control and oversight on client deliverables and communication materials.
Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance team culture.
Reporting & Analytics
Measure campaign performance using media monitoring and analytics tools.
