The Kenya Pipeline Company Limited is a State Corporation established in 1973 under the Companies Act (CAP 486) of the Laws of Kenya. The Company is 100% owned by the Government and complies with the provisions of the State Corporations Act (Cap 446). KPC is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor (Regulatory Assurance) to join its team.
The role involves ensuring that the organization adheres to regulatory requirements and maintains a robust internal control environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating risk and providing assurance on compliance frameworks.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive compliance audits to ensure adherence to statutory and internal regulations.
Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal control systems.
Identify and report on regulatory risk findings to management.
Recommend appropriate corrective actions and follow up on implementation.
Skills Required
Expertise in audit and assurance methodologies.
Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance standards.
Strong risk assessment and mitigation capabilities.
Advanced analytical and investigative skills.
Qualifications and Experience
Possession of a BA/BSc/HND degree from a recognized institution.
Previous experience in internal audit or regulatory assurance at a senior level is expected.
