Role Overview
The Senior Human Resource Officer (Performance Management) at Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) Limited is responsible for driving organizational effectiveness through the design and implementation of performance management systems. The role ensures that individual performance is aligned with KPC's strategic corporate objectives and supports a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Framework Development: Design, develop, and implement robust performance management frameworks and policies.
KPI & Productivity Monitoring: Actively monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and productivity indicators across the organization to ensure targets are being met.
Performance Reviews: Coordinate and facilitate the periodic performance review and appraisal processes.
Advisory & Coaching: Provide professional advisory support to managers and staff on performance-related matters, including the implementation of performance improvement plans (PIPs).
Data Analytics: Leverage HR data and performance analytics to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Strategic Alignment: Ensure that all performance management initiatives are strictly aligned with the company's strategic goals.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Must hold a Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in performance analytics and HR data management systems.
Soft Skills: Strong coaching, advisory, and interpersonal communication skills.
Expertise: Deep understanding of strategic alignment within an HR context.
