Job Description
The Makueni County Public Service Board is inviting applications for the position of Senior Economist II. This is a senior-level role within the county government, categorized under Job Group 'M'. The successful candidate will be responsible for economic planning, research, and data analysis to support county-level decision-making and development initiatives.
Salary Scale
Job Group 'M': Kshs. 52,330 x 2,350 – 54,680 x 2,550 - 57,230 x 2,850 - 60,080 x 2,850 – 62,930 x 2,930 - 65,860 x 3,080 – 68,940 per month.
Requirements for Appointment
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Possess a Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Statistics, Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Statistics, Economics and Finance, or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Have a minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional experience.
Statutory Requirements
Shortlisted candidates will be required to obtain and produce original clearance certificates from the following institutions during the interviews:
The Criminal Investigation Department (DCI/CID)
Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
The Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
