Job Description
BURN designs, manufactures, and distributes aspirational fuel-efficient cooking products that save lives and forests in the developing world. The Senior Business Applications Officer will lead support, optimisation, and implementation of new modules for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within the ERP function. The role is heavily focused on manufacturing, planning, and advanced warehouse modules, ensuring system efficiency, data integrity, and seamless cross-functional integration. Reporting to the Global Head of ERP, the position plays a critical role in strengthening ERP performance, supporting users, and driving continuous system improvements across the organisation.
Responsibilities and Duties
System Implementation & Support: Handle Microsoft Dynamics Business Central system support and lead the implementation of new modules.
Module Management: Lead the configuration, deployment, training, support, and documentation for Manufacturing, Planning, and Advanced Warehouse modules.
System Development: Assist in developing custom improvements and new modules for the ERP system.
ERP Optimization: Work to optimize BURN’s ERP system to ensure it provides effective business solutions and accurate results.
Data Administration: Coordinate and manage master files, roles, user views, data control, reporting, and overall data integrity.
Quality Control: Design and execute monthly/quarterly reports to test data integrity and accuracy within the system.
Change Management: Track and document the status of all system changes, tests, and upgrade tasks based on established SOPs.
Integration Support: Assist in integration developments and provide technical support.
User Support: Provide JET reports support for users and maintain ERP user manuals and issue trackers.
Administrative Tasks: Prepare research materials, maintain PowerPoint presentations, and manage meeting documentation including notes and reports.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field.
ERP Experience: Proven experience in the deployment and support of manufacturing, planning, and advanced warehousing modules in a large-scale company using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (2019 V13 up to V27).
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of MS Business Central functional processes, administration, and entry-level development.
Project Methodology: Familiarity with the NAV Project documentation using the Sure Step methodology and version control in NAV development.
Database Knowledge: A solid understanding of Basic SQL.
Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Personal Attributes: Self-directed, energetic, and eager to tackle new projects without direct supervision.
Certification: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Certification is an added advantage.
