Our client, a reputable secondary school in Nairobi, invites applications from experienced educational leaders to partner with the Principal in driving academic excellence and operational effectiveness. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in curriculum management, academic performance analysis, and institutional leadership.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Principal to drive academic excellence and operational effectiveness within the school.
- Oversee the implementation of CBC and IGCSE curricula.
- Lead planning, organizational, and managerial activities to ensure smooth school operations.
- Monitor and analyze subject performance and academic trends.
- Maintain high standards of integrity and professionalism in all educational dealings.
- Engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including students, staff, and parents.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a Management course from a recognized institution.
- A Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Education will be an added advantage.
- Must be TSC (Teachers Service Commission) registered and computer literate.
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ teaching experience in a high school.
- At least five (5) years’ experience specifically within a private school setting.
- At least five (5) years’ experience serving in the capacity of a Deputy Principal.
- Demonstrated record of high academic achievement as a key performance indicator.
- Must provide evidence of subject performance and trend analysis.
- Strong understanding of Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and IGCSE curricula.
- Excellent leadership, planning, organizational, and managerial skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Strong communication skills with excellent oral and written English.
