Nairobi International School (NIS) is a private co-educational school that follows the British National Curriculum. We are currently recruiting for a School Counselor Teacher for the academic year commencing September 2026. Key Responsibilities
Provide counseling and guidance services to students to support their emotional, social, and academic development.
Foster a school culture of integrity, self-discipline, and caring for one another.
Utilize technology-based education methods to engage students and enhance the learning/counseling experience.
Collaborate with parents and teachers to meet the needs of individual students.
Teach relevant subjects or sessions related to student well-being and life skills.
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching the relevant subject in an international school.
Education: BA/BSc/HND in a relevant field.
Mandatory Certification: A professional teaching qualification is required.
Registration: Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
Technical Skills: Must be IT savvy and comfortable with technology-integrated education.
