As a Sales Representative in the Telematics division, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding the company's footprint within regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Growth: Contribute to market research, including identifying market potential and finding growth opportunities, particularly in West African markets.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers through daily contact, presentations, and frequent visits.
Sales Execution: Prepare commercial offers and negotiate contracts to achieve assigned sales targets.
Representation: Represent Teltonika Telematics at exhibitions, meetings, and industry events locally and internationally.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the technical support team and product specialists to address customer requirements effectively.
Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement.
Cycle Management: Manage and support the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
Requirements & Expectations
Education: BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field.
Experience: At least 5 years of B2B sales experience (experience in telematics is a strong advantage).
Industry Interest: Strong interest or experience in IoT, telematics, or GPS tracking solutions.
Proven Success: A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Soft Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Language: Fluency in English (spoken and written) as your primary working language.
Personal Attributes: Results-oriented, organized, and driven by challenges and targets.
Technical: Experience working with CRM systems and a strong ambition to grow professionally.
Bonus: Exposure to launching or scaling new products in a market is an advantage.
Mobility: Willingness to travel internationally when required.
