We are seeking a dedicated Sales Representative to ensure our company’s growth in terms of sales, profits, and customer base in the Retail Channel within Kenya.
Your Mission
To ensure company’s growth in terms of sales, profits & customers base in Retail Channel.
Developing the Retail channel in Kenya in line with the company strategy and sales plan, and with the Kenya and Group guidelines.
Actively promoting Puratos products.
Creating strong long-term partnerships with assigned customers.
Key Responsibilities
Promote Puratos Magic based on our values and working principles.
Ensure working conditions support high employee engagement, enablement, and wellbeing.
Embrace continuous learning and continuous improvement.
Promote and sell different Puratos products taking into account the specific needs/requests from the customers.
Participate actively in organizational events/activities for the promotion of Puratos products (fairs, collective demonstrations, seminars in-house and abroad).
Obtain excellent knowledge of Puratos product range in Bakery, Patisserie, and Chocolate and their characteristics/properties.
Identify and develop new customers beyond core channels.
Register Sales Orders and manage payment collection according to company rules (rooting & credit policy & timing).
Deal with customer complaints, involve relevant internal stakeholders, propose adequate solutions, and inform the customer.
Leverage available tools to drive profitable sales (e.g., demonstrations, customer visits, digital sales tools).
Manage existing customer base and organize daily activities based on objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
Certificate, diploma, or degree in marketing, business, or related field; a Bakery diploma is desired.
Previous experience as a baker with practical exposure to bakery production and bakery improver applications.
Experience in sales within the bakery, pastry, chocolate, or agri-food sector is preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
Mobility required: ability to travel regularly within the country.
Able to evolve in an international organization.
High level of autonomy and rigor in follow-up.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and active listening skills.
