Mogo Finance is looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Officer Intern to join its team in Busia. This internship is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the financial services sector, specifically within asset financing. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling Mogo Kenya's diverse range of financial products, focusing on vehicle financing for both new and used cars, motorcycles, and three-wheelers. This role offers an opportunity to learn the end-to-end loan issuance process and manage customer relations within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Sales: Selling the full range of MOGO Kenya financial products to potential customers.
Vehicle Financing: Selling loans for new and used cars, motorcycles, and three-wheelers.
Loan Processing: Executing the loan issuance process and facilitating proper documentation for every sale.
Customer Management: Managing incoming potential leads and following up diligently until the sale is successfully completed.
Administrative Support: Assisting with administrative tasks such as vehicle inspections and price updates as required.
Compliance: Ensuring that all sales processes are followed according to MOGO’s established standards.
Targets: Working towards achieving the branch’s sales targets through various provided channels.
Other Duties: Carrying out any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Diploma or Degree in a business-related course or a related field.
Experience: At least one year of relevant sales experience.
Technical Proficiency: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are mandatory).
Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Swahili is essential.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Personal Attributes: Ability to adapt quickly, work independently, and be resourceful and proactive when challenges arise. High levels of loyalty and integrity are required.
Leadership: Good leadership potential and skills.
