Our client is seeking to recruit a Sales Extension Officer to support sales growth while providing technical support and training to farmers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting products and services, building strong customer relationships, and supporting farmers to improve productivity and quality through modern agricultural practices.
Key Responsibilities
Initiate sales contacts and promote products and services to customers to drive growth.
Grow and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
Provide excellent customer service to farmers and clients.
Conduct farm visits and train farmers on: Animal husbandry (calf, chick, piglet rearing), feeding and hygiene practices, forage preservation, and sustainable farming/soil management.
Support farmers to improve production and product quality.
Qualifications and Requirements
KCSE Certificate (minimum C-) or equivalent.
Diploma in Dairy Science & Technology, Animal Health, Agriculture, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in sales or agricultural extension.
Valid, accident-free motorcycle riding license.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
