The Sales Executive for the BYD brand is responsible for driving vehicle sales through proactive market engagement, lead generation, and comprehensive customer relationship management. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, providing technical guidance on electric vehicles, and ensuring a seamless purchase experience for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Conduct regular field visits to identify potential clients, gather market information, and follow up on leads from showrooms and promotional activities to close sales.
Sales Administration: Prepare accurate quotations in accordance with CFAO Mobility guidelines and create sales orders within the system to facilitate timely invoicing.
Client Relationship Management: Maintain consistent contact with existing clients to encourage retention and generate referrals. Keep customers informed about sales order progress and resolve queries promptly.
Financial Advisory: Advise clients on available finance packages through partner financial institutions and assist them in completing the necessary documentation to finalize deals.
Post-Sales Support: Coordinate with the Finance department on payment terms and follow up on vehicle registration documents, including logbooks, to ensure timely delivery to the customer.
Market Intelligence & Strategy: Participate in promotional and training events to increase brand awareness. Provide management with market intelligence to help develop aggressive sales strategies for the BYD brand.
Reporting & Inventory: Submit accurate weekly reports on deliveries and order intake to the Sales Manager and support the unit ordering process to maintain optimal stock levels.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of proven working experience in sales within the automotive industry.
Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with Electric Vehicles (EVs) is highly desirable.
Additional Advantage: Previous experience in vehicle leasing is considered an added benefit.
